DIRECTOR OF EVENTS
Susan Patel is a Chicago-born native. She is a world traveler that loves importing goods from all of her travels. She has been operating multiple businesses in the retail sector for 11 years. Along with working on her businesses, Urban Convene and Bhandu Ethnics, she works for Events by Nisar utilizing her organization, communication, and planning skillset to keep items and checklists rolling on time.

As a hair designer and artist, I love the creative process of a wedding. Facilitating ideas and plans that come together to create spectacular wedding productions, more specifically Indian weddings, is an amazing and gratifying experience. The colors, the clothing, the beautiful venues and the nonstop celebratory nature are among a few things that I love.
EVENT COORDINATOR
I have been working in the event industry for over 8 years now. My primary focus is the catering aspect, having dealt with service and logistics on numerous occasions. I love the rush of being able to organize and execute a project from beginning to end. The attention to detail, traditions and festive culture of the South Asian community have always allowed me to tap into my creative energies.
